The flame that becomes movement
Volunteering is a choice that comes from the inside. We're not here by obligation, but because we believe in what we're doing. Because we feel in our hearts that it's possible to help, even if it's just a little bit. Being part of a volunteer club is much more than taking part in meetings or campaigns, it's being in tune with people who share the same desire of changing.
That's what making it happen is all about. It's about giving yourself. Having the courage to take on responsibilities, even if you're afraid. Making the effort to get ideas off the drawing board, even when tiredness sets in, time gets tight or doubt creeps in. It's moving forward, even when things don't go according to plan. Because, in the end, it's always worth it.
In the midst of all this, there are encounters that make a difference. Friendships that are welcoming, sincere conversations, laughter after hours. It's in these moments that we realize: we're not alone. There is a network, a family. People who lift us up, support us, hug us on difficult days and celebrate our small victories.
There's a flame that lives inside us. A real desire to do something, to change, to move forward. And it can't be extinguished. Even when the body asks for a rest, when the routine weighs on us, when no one seems to notice the effort. We keep going. Because it's this flame that drives us.
To be a volunteer is having faith in what is built with affection, unity and joint work. It means looking at others with respect and love. And going forward with an open heart, humility and determination.

Ser voluntária é uma escolha que vem de dentro. Não estamos aqui por obrigação, mas por acreditar no que fazemos. Por sentir, no coração, que é possível ajudar, mesmo que seja só um pouquinho. Fazer parte de um clube de voluntariado é muito mais do que participar de reuniões ou campanhas, é estar em sintonia com pessoas que compartilham o mesmo desejo de mudança.
Fazer acontecer é isso. É se doar. Ter coragem para assumir responsabilidades, mesmo com medo. Esforçar-se para que as ideias saiam do papel, mesmo quando o cansaço aparece, o tempo aperta ou a dúvida insiste. É seguir em frente, mesmo quando as coisas não saem como o planejado. Porque, no fim, sempre vale a pena.
No meio de tudo isso, surgem encontros que marcam. Amizades que acolhem, conversas sinceras, risadas fora de hora. É nesses momentos que percebemos: não estamos sozinhas. Existe uma rede, uma família. Pessoas que nos levantam, que apoiam, que abraçam nos dias difíceis e comemoram as pequenas vitórias.
Tem uma chama que mora dentro de nós. Uma vontade real de fazer, de mudar, de seguir em frente. E ela não pode se apagar. Mesmo quando o corpo pede descanso, quando a rotina pesa, quando parece que ninguém nota o esforço. Continuamos. Porque é essa chama que nos move.
Ser voluntária é ter fé no que se constrói com carinho, união e trabalho conjunto. É olhar para o outro com respeito e amor. E seguir com o coração aberto, com humildade e determinação.
